My role is to seize the fleeting moments throughout your celebration. For instance, I'll document the look of awe on your future husband's face when he see's his stunning bride walking down the aisle, the joyful smiles and tears of your friends and family, the heartfelt hugs, and even the humorous moments, like a groomsman's pants splitting while dancing.
Your wedding day is a unique narrative of your love, and I cherish the fact that no two stories are alike. Getting to know both you and your partner is one of the most rewarding parts of my job, as it helps me connect with you and highlight the best aspects of your day.

WHAT IS EMOTIONAL DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY?
Emotional documentary photography captures the genuine, heartfelt moments of your special day in a storytelling format. This style focuses on the raw emotions and candid interactions that unfold naturally, allowing you to relive the experience through powerful imagery. It highlights intimate exchanges, joyful celebrations, and the little details that make your love story unique. By blending artistry with authenticity, emotional documentary photography creates a rich narrative that reflects the true essence of your wedding day.
FAQ
Do you offer an engagement session in your package?
Absolutely! My packages do not mention an engagement shoot but we can add it in and it's a brilliant way to work together before the big day so you can see how I work and we can become comfortable when the big day arrives.
Do you travel outside of the High Desert for weddings?
I love the desert but if you ask me to shoot outside of this place, I'll have my bag packed in two point five-seconds, so, Yes, I will be more then happy to travel to where every your love will become one. Travel fees do apply
Do you offer albums?
Albums can be added to any wedding package. I love curating albums for my Bride and Groom, creating a visual story of their day is super fun for me.
How do I book?
Go to the contact section and shoot me a message with your wedding date, if you don't have a date set that's okay, we can still talk about the big day. Once you decide I'm your gal to capture your love I will require a 25% deposit to hold the date. We can also discuss payment plans.
Why you should hire a professional photographer?
Don't make my mistake and hire a "friend" to shoot your wedding, things can go wrong real quick and you're left with the bare minimum of memories captured. Also you want your friends and family to enjoy your wedding and not work it.
Professional photographers will make sure that you get all your beautiful moments captured for you to look back on and cherish. Trust me on this, hiring a professional will be the best investment you'll make.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are a security for both parties involved. Security that the photographer will be there on your big day and security for the photographer they have a job and will not be missing out on other potential work.
If for some unfortunate reason you are no longer getting married I will be more than happy to talk about refunds but if you place a deposit and then decide to work with another photographer a deposit will not be returned. Sounds harsh but that hurts our feelings. HAHAHA, but that has never happened.
When do we get our photos?
Editing a wedding gallery can take up to 4-8 weeks depending on the season. Fall and Winter weddings take about 2-3 months to edit due to family obligations and other jobs but trust me, I try my very best to get them done at a reasonable pace so you can enjoy your big day all over again.
Do you have a second shooter or provide videography ?
I usually work alone but if you would like to have a second shooter to help capture moments where I can't possibly be at two places at once I can add a shooter to your package for a fee.
As for videography, I do not do, for I am strictly a still photographer (although I would love to dapple in it one day) I do know of a few videographers that I can recommend if you need any help in that department.
How do you deliver our photos?
Your wedding day gallery will be delivered to you via usb, that way you can download them to your computer and share with family and friends. I do save weddings on my hard drives just incase something terrible happens and you lose all your photos but I really recommend backing them up on several hard drives to keep a peace of mind.
